We have permanent staff as well as "gap year" or short term staff who serve for shorter term periods from 3 months to a year or more. Short term are exposed to training (eg. building for life) and courses and get free accommodation and a food allowance but will need to raise funds for further needs.

Wortelgat is involved in the development of CAMNet (Camping Adventure Ministries Network) which is to help train up people for camping ministry, giving them the necessary accreditations and qualifications. The Network is being created to share knowledge resources and abilities and will create a study course for Christian adventure operators in co-operation with SATS. Wortelgat will be one of the learning centres for these courses.
